I've never been treated by a GP as I have at Barclays. I was cornered, insulted, spoken down to, and belittled. I will spare them the shame of naming them here with the hope of them realizing that is not how you treat your patients. I sincerely hope this surgery also stops employing undergraduate children and considers adults with medical degrees. Paracetamol doesn't not solve all issues. I'm afraid for myself and my family's health knowing I have no choice but to move if I want to change to another surgery. The staff is rude, racist and aren't at all interested in helping anyone. People need to work and one can't be expected to be on standby to phone in promptly at 8 or miss their chance to see a doctor. An earlier reply from the owner here specifies that people who work can book appointments in advance. That is false as we've been refused advance booking on multiple occasions. Saturdays are never available either. Prescriptions never go out to our pharmacy and when we call in we are only ever met with attitude. Places like this make people not seek help when they need to see a doctor and the consequences are severe as a result. I'm honestly afraid of going back. Consider what you are doing to people. As mentioned earlier by the owner in some of the replies to reviews, perhaps they save on 200 no show appointment slots but you can do that with a fast food chain business not by jeopardizing people's wellbeing and health. Sort out your priorities and responsibilities Barclays!

Since Barclays took it over ,I cannot fault it.Superb Seems better resourced and better service. Same day appmt or they will let you book ahead

On call same day appointments are really inconvenient. I used to make an appointment in advance, cause I used to work different shifts and it really worked for me well, now I’m working night shift only finishing at 7am, and have to call at 8am to make the appointment - and god know what I’m gonna get the appointment. This system of appointments doesn’t work, some people work shifts and really can’t make it on opening times or they have to request time off from work, e.g. my friend also has problems making the appointments in this Medical Practice as he works 9-5 in the City Center - so he either is late for work in the morning or he can’t make it on time to GP. Can’t really complain about stuff, which handles all of the requests, enquires and complains in friendly and professional manner and they’re doing their best, but the owner of this place seems like doesn’t get it, like he/she doesn’t care - it’s a shame really.

Tried 3 mornings in a row to get appointment and told all taken 2call back tomorrow can't even pre book

Awful surgery, never any availability and also ordering repeat perceptions is usually a 5-7 day ordeal where they will tell you they will send it off only to find that they have not and when you call and they act as if the request was non existent or the have some excuse or mistake they have made. Also told varying information by each member of staff over the phone

Absoloute joke of a practice very rarely see a qualified doctor repeat prescription system that doesnt work incompetent office staff and a general non caring attitude. Avoid at all costs!!!

They call you back very quickly and are very friendly once you get through on phone

Dr ranj recently saw my son who has special needs. He is fantastic with children and had my son smiling all the way through our appointment. The reception girls are just wonderful always go above and beyond to help thank you Barclay 🙂. From Donna ganson
