Staff are really friendly at this store and get the job done quickly and efficiently. I was given a lot of help towards getting started with contact lenses and I'm now very comfortable with using them. They're always helpful when it comes to readjusting my glasses and they ensure they are a comfortable fit for me. Good effort.

Really poor service, and only interested in trying to sell you new frames at hugely inflated prices. I purchased a pair of Ray Ban's including lenses online for under £100, Boots asking £240 for the same glasses.

Still waiting for a call regarding an order for daily lenses. Was told 6 days ago a member of their team would call me back. Just tried to call the branch at 2030, as it is advertised as being 'open today from 0830 - 2100' Voicemail telling me the store closed at 7:00pm!!!

My Husband has used Boots Opticians at Gyle Edinburgh many times with sucess but yesterday was a nightmare. The staff passing him on to next member of staff clearly had not explained where he was in the process and he was told he could go when he had arranged with previous staff member to use new prescription to change lenses in his glasses. He was then told that was too difficult and expensive but not in a very helpful manner and he was asked several times where his glasses were from when he had clearly said many times they were from Boots. He asked to speak to a Senior member of staff to see if they could help but told that not possible, so he left. We will now find a more helpful Opticians. Very dissappointing.

Staff seem to be overstretched and thin on the ground. Impossible to get through to them on the phone to rearrange an appointment. What a pity to see a good service become so poor due to staffing levels.
