Great care on the rowan ward.......great staff, good food, and a very helpful ambiance. This was far superior to our 5k a month private nursing home...... and it was "free"!! My mum liked it there.

What an amazing place. The fabric of the building is a little tired but this can be excused and is more than compensated for by the wonderful staff who work there. They looked after my mum brilliantly with a lot of little touches that made my mums final few weeks very comfortable. From Mary who brought mum in a metro to read, ( just because she saw one), to the catering and cleaning staff who always had a smile and a few stories to share every single person went the extra mile. The professional care my mum received was just excellent I couldn't have asked for more. As well as making my mum comfortable Leanne and Shona took time out to make sure I was coping and offered friendly advice and a shoulder to cry on when I needed it. I will always remember Ferryfield House fondly and my advice to the team there is keep doing what you are doing it makes a huge difference.

My mum is receiving fabulous care in this wonderful NHS facility. I cannot believe how well she is being looked after compared to the private care home she used to be in. The staff are so caring and so professional. I cannot praise them enough.
