Losing bags at EDI

We lost our bags between AMS and EDI yesterday. Supposed to contact Swissport. I’ve been trying but can’t seem to reach a person -either by phone or in person. Can anyone help us?

This has been the most awful thing I experienced in a long time. Baggage arrived 2weeks late in Edinburgh, I found out it arrived only because of calling the outbound airport. I called daily, no answer at all. I went myself to pick the suitcase up 5 days later. Waited at the desk another 20 min. When I massively Complained someone finally managed to go get that suitcase. No apology, just dead faces. Truly horrible.

Appalling service from Swissport staff member whilst trying to board a flight. Complaint will follow. Some basic customer service training seems to have gone a miss. Come on guys know your job at the very least. Poor standard for Edinburgh.

We have reported lost luggage on our flight from Zurich to Edinburgh and were given number to call for the update. There is only answer machine to leave message but do not expect somebody will call you back. we went back to Swissport office in the airport arrival hall and have asked for the update on our luggage. The person was on this occasion very helpful on contrary to the one from previous day who appeared to be completely disinterested. also she has told us that they are short staffed and there is not anybody to handle the calls! Fortunately our luggage was found and we have decided to collect it directly from the airport to avoid further disappointments.

The woman that checked our bags in was absolutely the worst person I have ever dealt with at an airport. Super rude and acted like doing her job was a burde . Sighed loudly 4 times and rolled her eyes at us when we asked simple questions. Very rude. Made me never want to deal with RyanAir or any affiliates at Edinburgh again.

Dealing with Swissport staff was a nightmare! I came to Edinburgh from Paris and Air France did not deliver 3 checked bags. I went back to the airport 3 times to get my suitcases. First of all, the desk is vacant 95% of the time. You have to run after them if you see them passing by. Nobody seems to care about your problem. They are always about to finish their shift, busy with something else or having a bite in a bar. One told me "you should not rely on what Air France told you, because they lie all the time". Today a woman said: "if your items were on this flight, I will bring them to you in ten minutes". I waited for 2 and a half hours. Finally a senior person arrived with two carts and some 15 items, among them my two. Because of them I will never fly with Air France again in my life

Refused boarding by a young lady who refused to read my paperwork. This was five o'clock in the morning. I would point out I had the proper paperwork. Unfortunately my wife didn't as the Royal Mail lost her test. But note Portugal will accept a lateral test which can be done at Edinburgh airport by a company in the car park. Question why does Swissport staff not know this, have tried phoning but no reply will try email. The flight in question was Tuesday morning and we note that other passengers advised that the young lady involved stated "he is not getting on that flight" this was to other passengers.

Pointless. They never answer the phone and there's no one of the desk period I've waited for them for hours and I've been there twice. Completely useless. "Luggage Point" just down the terminal is informed. Check with them.
