Pizza Hut Restaurants edinburgh

Came here during lunch time for the buffet. The restaurant was quite with a good number of staff but we barely saw anyone of them. The pizza was regularly refreshed which is good but the salad bar was bare with different foods mixed in each container where people had dropped things.

My friends son had a birthday party with a small group of friends at Gravity which was great, we decided to take the kids over to pizza hut after to get them all fed. When we entered it was 2.40pm and there was 3 tables taken, the rest were empty. We were told they couldn't seat us because all the tables were booked for 6pm and "they didnt know when the people who have booked the table for 6pm might turn up". Staff clearly couldn't be bothered. Wont be back.

It's a very good place. I would recommend it to lots of people. They do very good ice-creams for kids.

We went for the buffet the last time there and it was good, specially because of the price, but could have more varieties of pizza.

Really enjoyed our meal. Great service from manager and staff.

Don't usually go into Pizza Hut but today I did. Went with my niece and nephew and their three boys aged six eight and ten. We were at the tenpin bowling at Fountain Park so I went online and booked it. Maybe a wee bit surprising they wouldn't take bookings when I walked in earlier but no matter. Once we were in the restaurant the waitress said she could take our order directly or we could order via the app. We chose to order directly and the waitress was brilliant with the boys in particular but also good with us three adults as well. The food was pretty good I have to say. I had thin-crust pizza which was excellent while the boys and their parents had various foods which they loved. The boys really knew their way around the food available but so did all the other children. Background music was not too loud but just right. We had a really good evening in Pizza Hut, would I go back again..you bet..!

Online order system failed and we got charged without the order going through (it was a sign we should have given up). But we ordered again and when we went to collect the order, the manager said it was not their problem and that we had to contact customer service to get a refund for the first order. We then asked the manager if we could eat at the restaurant because it was so empty (now we know why) and the manager refused because we ordered online. If it was a busy night I would understand. But imagine how much more likely we would be to come back if you tried to help us with our refund or pretended to care by welcoming us in. You just refused your employees extra tips for extra care and customer service. Food was edible.

The pizza, desserts and salad buffet used to be good when i was a kid. Went back recently and the toppings are meager on the pizza, no more ice cream factory and salad has reduced in variety. Yet has increased in price. Also the servers are very difficult to get their attention and once you do, the service is slow and seem to just stay in the bar area chatting most of the time.
