Amazing service. Very friendly staff. They done a beautiful job of altering my bridesmaid dress which was far too small. Now it fits perfect and I am over the moon! Would definitely recommend this place and I wouldn't go anywhere else now. Thanks again guys!!!! X

Staff were too busy on their phones when I went in and didn't respond to me or their bell and weren't particularly helpful (although the man that was there when I collected was much better). I had a skirt taken up slightly which took over a week for them to do, which in my opinion was unreasonably long for such a small job and it wasn't made clear when I dropped it off that it would take that long. The finished job was decent though. Overall I'd suggest trying somewhere else for better service.

Had a dress altered here by Mata. She is a great seamstress and would totally recommend her. She spent the time to get the length right and made a far job of hemming my 2 layer maxi dress. Only took a few days and was a reasonable price. Very happy.

The lovely ladies at Stitch Express fixed a dress of mine brilliantly and super quick! The length of the dress cut me at a funny place and not only did they bring up to the perfect length, they fixed the curve of the seam which was off and they made it look better! Would definitely recommend again.

Came in here because I saw a lot of 5 star reviews. I took my wedding dress here to get altered and it came back perfect! The people here are so nice and they made it a comfortable experience. 100% recommend them!

IMPOLITE STAFF and TOO EXPENSIVE: Have been there today for an "express alteration" to a 1930s dress bought in a vintage shop. The dress was clearly old (hence dirty: e.g., yellow stains). I have specified I wanted it back soon as I wanted to bring it to dry cleaning. When I went back to pick the dress up and pay (7 pounds to apply a clip to close the dress on the back, "quite" expensive service...), the lady working there, in a very impolite way, clarify that the dress was dirty and next time I should have cleaned it before bringing it there because "it was very unpleasant working with it". I felt JUDGED and UNCOMFORTABLE for the situation, especially because I clarified in first place that the dress was from a vintage shop, therefore dirty. I WILL NEVER GO BACK.

I have just had a great experience with this shop. I needed help with 2 of my painting and decorating hoodies as the zips were not working properly. When I initially went into the shop, the most beautiful girl with black hair discussed my requirements, she was very polite, friendly and professional and explained exactly what they could do to help/fix my hoodies. The other member of staff, I think the owner of the shop also gave her input and she was very kind and helpful also. ( sorry i cant remember the names ) My hoodies are now fixed, and at a very fair price. Great service all round. Thank you so much

Wife had her works uniform altered as she's very petite. Wife left a dress that had been altered before so they had a comparison to work too. Had to take it back to have a slight alteration as not quite right. Charged another £10 on top of original cost to do what should of been done in the first place. Won't be back again.
