Sports direct. Just saying the name sends shivers down my spine. Good shivers, the kind you get when you've just finished a hearty bowl of soup. Me and my 14 kids love spending a Saturday down at Sports Direct, we all get matching shell-suits and throw a trolley into the canal. Such great family memories, I cant believe its been only 5 years since me and the missus did it for the first time on our honeymoon. One small problem I have however, is the plastic bags they use. As a vegan (although I like the occasional KFC) I find it appalling that we are still destroying our oceans with this plague of plastic. I just threw up in my mouth thinking about it. Yuck. Another thing while I'm here, my 5th oldest, Brutus was scolded by a pock-faced member of staff for nothing! "You're kids are making a right-racket!" So rude, what else do you expect, you're only selling ones for the left! Overall I'm extremely pleased with the service and facilities provided here and will be returning during the Easter break when my kids get bored. 5*

Only 2 cubicles for a store that size? Hidden away in the corner by the tills. Was trying on a swimming costume and a man opened the curtain. Not happy about that! They used to have four proper cubicles with locks on the doors, still not enough but at least they were secure Shall not be shopping there again unless they man they have a member of staff guarding the cubicles.

Good sized store that feels quite cramped with free parking adjacent, that has a good range of footware & clothing for ladies, men & children, plus accessories for your favourite chosen sport, staff could be friendlier & they could have a wider range of sizes in stock, as everything I liked they didn't have in a size 5.
