Visited for afternoon tea during our trip to Scotland and liked it so much that we went again before leaving. Everything was perfect: delicious food, live piano music, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Would be the first thing to visit when next time in Edinburg.

Beautifully presented and very tasty! Each cake was a little animal and £5 for each afternoon tea went to the zoo fund. I really liked the elegance of the presentation which made it feel less overwhelming than most afternoon teas. The service was attentive but not overbearing and the Peacock Alley is light and airy but so comfortable. I think it is the best afternoon tea I have had!
