Good bar but as far as I could tell no where to hang coats. No apparent coat room either and when it's full you're stuck pretty much holding onto it. Other than that great atmosphere.

Fantastic spot, we are just back from Edinburgh and found it hard to find pubs to allow our kids in for food, but this pub was so welcoming. The staff are really nice and friendly, the food we had last night was really good and reasonable. I would highly recommend this pub.

I love this pub and so do the locals, I try to visit it at least once everytime I'm in town. Everyone seems to be having a good time when they are there, it's a large place and can get busy but still enjoyable. Good choice of ales, hell of a place to watch a match.

Just a great irish bar in the Grassmarket area of Edinburgh. I love it here but sometimes the Guinness isn't poured right, the head huge in busier times. That's just stress and bad teaching though. Besides that it's a great bar, friendly and welcoming. Food is the normal fare you'd get from anywhere but good nonetheless. It has an Irish "shop" where you can get things from Ireland you can't usually get here in the UK, and live music daily. Definitely visit but be warned, it can be busy here on certain days, especially when the six nations is on, but what an atmosphere!

I had great Eggs Benedict, including my first experience with haggis — I liked the haggis, so I don’t know if it was good or bad 😅. My girlfriend had avocado toast with poached eggs that were just too raw, and the smashed avocado was more guacamole-like. The tea was seemingly free, which we appreciated. Three to four stars.

went in for a wee drink with my brother and sister. very pleasant experience. the staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was great .if there was music playing it was at a level that you did not have to shout. which is great , nothing worse than not being able to hear what is being said. definitely be back.

Decent place! Although one of the bar guys was quite visibly drunk or otherwise intoxicated (wearing a mask with a galaxy design on 24/9/21) so took ages to make our drinks because he kept forgetting what we'd said. Also pretty illegal to be doing that. Other than that a super cool place with excellent live acoustic music and a good vibe!
