The Caves edinburgh

Had our wedding here in September. From start to finish communication with the coordinators was excellent. The food was lovely and service from the staff was brilliant. The venue itself is stunning and all our guests were really taken with it.

Stunning venue, its ancient vaulted ceilings were juxtaposed dramatically as the amazing Melt-Banana blasted out their unique sound on my first (and not last) visit here. Good range of craft beers, and not overly pricey considering its location.

Absolutely amazing place ♥️ got married here yesterday and the staff were just out of this world! Thank you all so much for everything. Couldn't fault a thing and highly recommend this beautiful place xxx

A bit warm in some of the up stairs rooms but it was August and they soon got some fans in to move some air aboot. Nice bar on the ground floor and we saw a couple of comedy celebrities in there.

We went underneath hear for our first ever ghost tour lady host was ace it longest servo g tour guide they had. Its only ghost tour with keys to cryps. Think its called ghost walks. The pub though looks as ace as caves in all bricks. If had time would have had a drink there as looks lovely.

Attended a wedding reception here. The soft lighting and stone walls create a very pleasant atmosphere. The venue is built in to the vaults under South Bridge and there are lots of little areas to sit, have a drink and chat. The main areas are much larger and can accommodate live music with quite a large audience. Prices are what you would expect in a city centre venue. Overall, nice atmospheric venue for a quiet drink or live music.

Lovely venue for a wedding. Loads of little nooks n crannies to sit and have a wee drink in too. Would recommend.

I have hosted a number of corporate events at the Caves now and I will return again. The staff are great, the food is tasty and the venue is stunning!

One of the more interesting subterranean clubs in the Old Town of Edinburgh, seems to be under new management as they've stopped hiding the chairs and the drink choice is slightly better and no more expensive although asking for the card machine receipt after a transaction would help to prevent 'mistakes' when they're busy, highly recommended on drum club nights as they are rather unique and special.

Excellent night out good food 😋 For the lasses don't where heels its all cobble inside with mettle stairs
