Very happy indeed got my long hair cut to a nice Bob
I've recently been there for the first time and I was happy to discover my new favourite hairdresser. Ola is a very patient and talented hairdresser. She took the time to listen to all my friend's suggestions and she gave her really good advice on how to take care of her hair. The haircut looked very good and her hair very healthy and shiny. Also, the prices are low for the quality service you receive.
Had a haircut with a barber called Mohamed. He has a legit talent and is a very nice individual to chat with. Excellent customer service and I didn’t have to wait long to be called. The price is reasonable.
Useless amateurs. They charge £16 for a hair cut and the Russian Brunette made a mess of the back of my head. She knew as she didn't put the mirror so I could check. They should shut the place down as these people dont know what they are doing.
Been using Gyle Barbers for 10 years. Always an excellent haircut.
No fuss barbers, friendly and quick. I have been using this barbers for years and never had a bad haircut. Although it is mainly a barbers shop, they also have hairdressers who style ladies hair.
Be mindful they only really know how to use clippers and cut hair really short except for one stylist which you'll need to wait even longer for. Wouldn't call them barbers all as a result - more like a half-step up from parents cutting their own kids hair. Certainly cannot do the hair cuts they have in the pictures on their walls.
Been going here since I was 10, 16 years later still going, love them
Asked for hair wash, was given an unenthusiastic hair rinse first with ice cold water then with a temp slightly less than v-hot, no hair products used. Was pointed to a chair and told to 'go sit over there'... Asked what I wanted I proceeded to show using my hands and named the guards to be used and how I wanted to front section cut, didn't bother looking at me, and when I commented was given a notary glance. On the cut he ignored my request and did his own thing anyway running shorter clippers far to high. On his scissor cutting was obvious not been uk trained... didn't cut section by section or use guides to keep length consistent around the head. Time to cut took no more than 20mins. Cost £20, less than what I pay my regular barber for a 40 minute cut, but this was an emergency. Believe this to be a bit more than dry cut and quite pricy addon for a 5min rinse. As a business owner didn't complain in public but worth the £20 to ensure I will not be back.
Usually the cuts here are very good and they take your time to get you exactly what you are looking for. However, sometimes, when it's really busy, it feels like they want you off the chair as soon as possible. So you have to tell them multiple times that you need some further input from them. But, as mentioned, normally the service is good.
