They allow well-behaved dogs in the store, which is absolutely fantastic! We had such a wonderful time visiting the store with our dogs. The store has great variety and is filled with helpful staff. Beauty, home decor, tech, clothing- almost everything you need. Highly recommend.

Love Lewis's shopped for many years and always had good service good quality products and enjoyed food but for the 2nd year running I can't buy clothes it seems, if your are 18 or over they can't accommodate you they no longer do bigger sizes. Also the food has taken a tumble to cheap cafe style with expensive prices . This is so sad for such a good store.

Only good things to say about local Edinburgh STORE, where staff are beyond helpful and professional. They get 5 stars! Same cannot be said about the "local" call! centre. Hence the 1 star. I was cut off twice by staff who are unable to answer queries more difficult than "where can I direct your call?" Also the "local" Edinburgh telephone number is redirected to a call centre that's not in Edinburgh! What gives??!!

We experienced how busy the department is, so really appreciated the time you spent with us educating us on the products for our first child. A great view of the city from the top floor restaurant! In Edinburgh on vacation. Lovely, helpful staff help me find my way around. We chatted about on going building works outside the store and various offers inside the store!

Had a fantastic time at John Lewis today with a personal shopper called Yvonne! She went the extra mile to make our day perfect. My daughter and I went away with a bagful of beautiful clothes that made us feel confident and happy. Would highly recommend Yvonne and will certainly use this service again with her.

Worst experience ever! Avoid purchasing from John Lewis! We have order a dining table three months ago and still waiting for delivery! The payment was taken straight away, and John Lewis operates with my money while I’m paying an interest for non-delivered item! Every month, John Lewis team makes fake promises that it will be delivered in two to three weeks but never keeps the promise. It’s apology after apology and lie after lie! One can expect this from a start-up company but for a company like John Lewis, this is simply unacceptable. John Lewis lost my trust and I will spread my word to everyone I know. Goodbye forever John Lewis!

I went in to find a new foundation, which I always get wrong when I go on my own, and Rue could not have been more helpful. He gave me such honest advice and made sure to always provide multiple options in different budgets, while explaining the benefits and application of each product. I ended up leaving with a gorgeous bronzer, and picked an amazing new foundation which I would have never found had I not asked for his help. Absolute 5/5 for professionalism, honesty & friendliness!

The new look store is beautiful. Well laid out, soacious and airy. Displays are excellent, and they're doing very well with social distancing. Pleasure to shop there.
