Great service! Great people! All round GREAT! I had a visitor moving out after 7 months and wanted a clear out of the room but also tat around the house. I asked Man with a van Edinburgh to help and they where on time, polite and professional and everything was done and out within a short time. I highly recommend them and they also do house moves and any sort of moving around Edinburgh and the UK. Thank you team and thank you Dawn and David!

Absolutely horrible service! I would never use them again and will share with all my friends as well. We got a sofa and an armchair on gumtree which was 10 min drive from where we stay. It took 4 emails for him to understand what we are trying to transport, although I sent him the gumtree advert at the very beginning and said that we only need help with the transport and that me and my flatmate will carry them. First he gave me a quote for £60 thinking that we are trying to transport a mattress. Then when I told him again that we need to transport a sofa and an armchair, he said that he booked us for 2 men for £90 to carry them, although I repeatedly said that we only need the transport. I asked if we can transport them on Sunday afternoon and he told me that he will tell me in the morning if he can do it, which never happened. Then emailed me 5 in the afternoon asking me if I am available, which I didn't see until the next day. Eventually we agreed for Wednesday with a price of £60 per hour. Then on the day itself he asked me if we can move the appointment, however I was busy and I couldn't. Anyway 5 min before the guy was supposed to arrive he phoned me to say that he will be 25 min late... Me and my flatmate loaded and unloaded everything. It took him 15 min to transport everything and he charged me £60 for 15 min work. Nowhere in his email it was made clear that it is a minimum of 1 hour work. The driver was actually quite decent guy and asked his boss if he can give us a discount. As it took quite long for his boss to reply, he said that it is fair to give us a discount, which he did. Then 5 min later he phoned me to say that he needs to charge us the full amount and came back to take the remaining of the money... Absolutely shocking customer service and you get 0 value for your money.. Never ever again!! Don't make the same mistake as me, there are other companies that offer the same service and I am sure they can't be any worse than this one...

Dave showed up bang on time, van was very clean and he definitely knows what he's doing regarding lifting large furniture out of tight spots. Highly recommended and I'll be using this company for my next house move. Thank you for the great service.

The men who helped me were absolutely fantastic. So quick and efficient, I'd definitely use again.

I have used this company 4 times in the last few years to transport my items between Edinburgh and the south of England. I've had a positive experience with them and found them to be very reliable. Communication was good, items were delivered on time (or within an agreed window) and I found the price to be reasonable. I didn't have many fragile items except a computer monitor but everything were delivered in good condition.

Simon went over and above to help us with our move, he was friendly, cheery and professional. Just all round lovely guy and happy to help with a couple of extra things that we hadn't planned for being within the quote. He worked flat out to help us move on a very hot and uncomfortable day, negotiating an awkward staircase at the property and being extremely careful with our belongings. Would highly recommend this company and in particular Simon. Really pleased with the fantastic service!

Excellent service provided by Stefanos & Danny who moved my belongings from a flat into local storage. They were on time (early actually), friendly, professional & got the job done efficiently. Even when we were worried about the storage space not being enough they used their expertise & skill to get it all in like a giant game of tetris! Would definitely use again when taking stuff back out of storage.

Very disappointing, we needed two vans, one was from the company, a 2nd was from a sub-contractor hired by the company. The team was very friendly and removed all the items in a good time. On arrival they unloaded the two vans in to the new house with speed. It was not until we started to unpack and move the furniture in place, when we then noticed a number of damaged items; picture frames, lamp, kitchen noticeboard and high end bookcase. Company has paid some refund towards the damage - though their T&Cs with regards to damage and item value is open to interpretation. I would advise itemising with value all high value items when making booking.
