Really bad!!!! Asked for a quote almost a week ago to be told by the edinburgh office that it was short notice to get someone round and could i download the app they said they'd email me which would allow them to do an online walk through. Fine, After speaking to the office in London who deals with the online walk through's and 3 attempts at sending it the app never came. They then offered to try to get someone round again last minute to do an actual walk through to get me my quote. Never heard from them again and this never happened. Had to chase them up again. Ended up having to compile a list myself and deal with their Glasgow office to get my quote which finally arrived on the morning of the day i have to move and was over £1000!! Im a 1 bdrm flat moving 15 mins away in Edinburgh! Shockingly bad service. Would warn anyone against attempting to use Pickfords. Massive let down and poorest customer service ever.

Pickfords Edinburgh were paid to pack, store, and return our property. They have demonstrated an utterly unprofessional attitude throughout, their staff are either totally incompetent or simply dishonest. In addition to packing dirty nappies alongside our kitchen equipment they have damaged or lost a great many items. They also only packed half of the items in our loft before closing it and telling my husband it had been fully emptied. We subsequently had to hire a van to remove the remain items and then throw most of th away as we had nowhere to store things before moving to our new house. They are now saying that only items notified to them within 7 days are covered by their insurance so most of our missing items aren't covered because I didn't realise they were missing till I went looking for them. Overall they have turned an already stressful experience into a total nightmare and charged us a fortune for the privilege.
