We did moved abroad and we are trying taking money to exchange to euros to buy a house and the amount of money allowed is only 25.000 pounds day and I'm losing money because of a bank that only thinking about themselves and their profit . Also there customer service is poor incapable to give any advice or solve any problems by telephone or online .Also we did try to contact head office in Edinburgh and the telephone many times and it is always out of service you can't speak with anyone. Also this bank is penalizing people for trying to take there money to have a better rate only allowing taking 25.000 a day. They don't care that people have dead lines that need to achieve when you are buying a house abroad and also the amount of money that you are losing this every time you exchange. Neither they deserve any rate at all they are greedy , incompetent , incapable to help and give any advice and they don't care and they don't want to know about people problems. My advice to anyone never open any account with this bank they don't deserve and respect and any consideration since they don't care about the customers

I opened my account in Lloyds TSB about 10 years ago. When they split, I moved to TSB. And everything was fine until April 2018 when they decided to stop renting Lloyds' infrastructure and switched to their own "state of the art" systems. Since then nothing works. You can make bank transfers and that is it. All other functionality is broken. They even keep trying to take the money from cancelled direct debits! I have listed about 15 bugs, sent 2-3 complaints, they fixed maybe one of the issues so far. Seriously, stay away from them. Some of the bugs affecting internet banking: - remembering login id on the login page doesn't work - dates when was the last time direct debit was paid are incorrect - on the account overview it shows 12 important messages, yet inbox is empty - cannot modify balance text alerts - balance text alerts don't work anyway - payment button doesn't work - system logs you out 10 minutes after login, no matter whether you are active or not - cannot view previous bank statements - cannot search bank statements - cannot rename the bank account - overdraft doesn't work

The Hanover Street branch in Edinburgh could not organise a piss up in a brewery, they cannot follow customer instructions when given face to face with the customer,if there is a way to screw things up they will find it.calling there call center is nightmare to say the least,no wonder this country nearly went belly up if this is the way the TSB does business with their customers, nobody seems take responsibility for the cock ups by there staff in the Hanover Street branch in Edinburgh.and there call-centres in Wales.God forbid when we leave the Common Market on the 29th March 2019.this country is coming apart at the seams.and the likes of the TSB Bank plc have some serious questions to answer.

I've been with this bank for 5+ years. This is a rubbish bank. Very often issues with internet banking, their 1st app was terrible, this app is just bad. Internet banking website isn't good either. Today I got into a big trouble because their internet banking didn't work, it happened very often in the past, but today I missed last bus from Glasgow to Edinburgh (and this was only small part of my journey) because I was unable to transfer money to my main account to be able to withdraw. Also they offer very bad %. I will find a better deal and will switch ASAP.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Failed to pay a standing order despite funds being available, then charged me for that privilege!!! Contact customer services & they just try to fob me off. Left them years ago because of terrible service but gave them another chance after hearing they’d cleaned up their act….not at all!!! Avoid!!

I would love to say a massive THANK YOU to Frances Birtles who has helped me with my application today over the phone. She was so informative and wanted to help me to get my finances sorted. There was no feeling rushed and she took her time to explain everything to me perfectly. I hope this will get passed onto her and she will get praised. Fantastic effort. Once again thank you Frances and hope you have a lovely Christmas. Thank you, Demi Lee

I can't believe why they have closed so many branches are they aware the from November 2021 people will no longer be able to use the post office for collection of state benefits surely they could have waited until after the transaction date to see how many branches would have been needed
