I can't praise Viewforth Glazing enough. From the inital quote through to the installation of two of our windows the service was excellent. The two men that installed our windows were very friendly and made such a great job of installing our new windows. I would highly recommend using Viewforth Glazing.

These guys must have fixed half the Windows in Edinburgh that were broke through age ,homeowners that have damaged the messing about with them,and nobody could open. Different class staff and although I only bought a Vent Cover for my window today the guys can't be more helpful. Bought a window vent today

Just a waste of time. The man came to measure our bathroom to fit a wall to wall mirror. He said he would email us with a quote the following week. No email came we called him and asked him about it again he said he would email, again no email. We called and asked what the problem was and he said no staff but he would have staff in September. No call in September. There was no communication. Terrible!!!

7 years ago I ordered timber windows from Viewforth glazing on the recommendation of another resident in the building. They were provided and installed unpainted but treated with preservative (apparently). I was not advised to treat the windows but was told to paint them to my specification. See my original order acceptance below which advises: "All our traditional timber windows are treated with preservative and re-pointed with the original type of sand mastic. If any internal or external timber plates/fascia are required, they would have to be painted by others." As per owner response below "In this case the sides have not been treated at all." So they were NOT provided treated with preservative as advised and there was no mention of painting the window with primer and weather resistant top coats of paint (the paint used WAS weather resistant). 6 years later, July 2020, the windows fell to bits, rotten with water damage. They even sent one of their guys round who took the pictures below as proof that the windows hadn’t been preserved. I've also added an extra couple of photos to detail the extent of damage to the windows. I contacted Viewforth and they did absolutely nothing to help, leaving me high and dry with rotten timber windows that were expected to have lasted a lot longer than the 6 years that they did. Please be careful when dealing with them and be aware that customer care/aftercare isn’t their thing.

I dont often write reviews, but this company takes the biscuit. I contacted them for someone to come round and give us a quote. The guy came when he said he would (one positive in the saga). Since then its been weeks of phoning and emailing to actually try and get the quote we were promised "by the end of the week". When I first emailed, I was told they had no note of anyone visiting me. Then when I gave more details they said the guy had "forgot to inform them". THEN a woman called to ask for my email (apparently the two departments of the same company dont talk to each other??) so she could send the quote "right away". I haven't received a quote. Complete waste of time.

Ridiculous service. I emailed for advice and sent through my measurements which was fine then got an email with a potential date for the work to be carried out then heard nothing back. I phone the company and they had nothing in the diary when i asked why nothing was in the diary I was told I could have phoned. Completely rude and will not be recommending this rude service.
