Waitrose & Partners edinburgh

Always busy with shoppers. Parking on the rooftop car park can be edgy and very busy. Tight turns and tight spaces but always polite drivers and discerning matrons. Great produce and range of fare for every taste. Worth a visit just to see the clientele of Morningside, Merchiston, Grange etc. On their home turf and experience the accents made stellar by Alistair Sim and Maggie Smith in the Prime of Miss Jean Brodie!

Christmas shopping Nightmare. Had delivery but then went to get another load. Shop was heaving very busy. Took ages to get all loaded into car ..went back for coffee and received a fine for overstaying. Last time I will ever grace their doors. Jobsworth private parking company took your business away!

I've only removed a star for a lack of a public toilet . I had to change my niece's nappy so we had to leave in a rush instead. Other than that the shop has an amazing range and the associates are all friendly.

This store is built on the site of the Plaza Ballroom with the car park on the upper storey It is a fairly small outlet but still has a good range of products.Beware the car park it can get really busy.On Saturday at 12.00 I was doing laps looking for a parking space.O, forgot to say it has a sushi shop in store

You find everything, a lot of organic, happy smiling staff. Very good prices and many offers !!!

To the member of staff, Vicky, that reduced my mother to tears today - you should be ashamed. For a minor issue that could have been easily sorted and taking into consideration the poorly child and stress my mother was under, you could have solved the issue without upsetting a sleep deprived grandmother. I hope the complaint we have made to your superiors results in a disciplinary for you but more so that you one day appreciate how far a small kindness can go.

Had a good experience in this Morningside store today ,the girls who helped me out at the checkout at about 11am were understanding and welcoming. 🙂👍

Good fresh produce with good best before dates. Well stocked, clean and tidy.

Waitrose is one of those shops that carries the normal run of the mill groceries but also some "interesting" things above & beyond the big four supermarkets. Today's trip, mostly for the (I do like Waitrose Earl Grey - it's not perfumery like others) and Tamari Soy Sauce. Both acquired, in & out in 5 mins
