Lloyd’s Pharmacy edinburgh

The internal automatic doors didn't work, for a while. I believe it's fixed? I'm a wheelchair user this is handy for me. There's an alternative single door outside which opens automatically too. Great pharmacy, very personable staff. Individual attention is guaranteed. Lots of space for prams and wheelchairs. The Pharmacy isn't yet on Lloyds own store locator on their website. Google has more information that Lloyds do!

I phoned the pharmacy yesterday at 1.30 and asked if my prescription had been collected from the doctors. They told me it had and said there were a few items they had to order, but two items were available for collection should I need them urgently (which I did). They asked if I could come in an hour which would have been 2.30. I said I can come in 4ish and they said no problem. I arrived at 4.30 to be told it wasn't ready and could I come back in an hour. The woman who served me repeatedly said they were really busy. This made me feel like I was an inconvenience to them showing up when I did and adding to the fact they were busy. So I went away and went back for half 5. I was then told the prescription still wasn't ready and I overheard the lady saying to the pharmacist she's just come back from an hour. This made me think the pharmacist wanted me to go away again. The woman repeatedly said they were really busy. I told her it wasn't good enough as I had been told to go away and come back. She said the pharmacist is just doing it now. Eventually after 10 minutes I received the items. All I can say is they wasted so much time and could improve their time management. The friendliness of the staff could also be improved, as I didn't appreciate being made to feel like I was an inconvenience for them. Not impressed!

Helpful staff however time management could be improved, they make you wait of ask you to come back later... Even for the simplest request. Good offers on some over the counter products :-)

I waited for 45 minutes for my prescription which the pharmacist had lost, which is fair enough, accidents happen. However the bad review is due to the rudeness of the staff, they made me feel as if I was in the way and did not seem to be very apologetic about the hold up.

I can’t get over how bad this pharmacy is. I asked for two medications I needed, was lazily shown where one was and ignored about the other. He literally just walked away. Terrible service, no knowledge on medication and it’s always closed because they have no staff. I don’t even usually leave reviews like this but this pharmacy is truly terrible and have really let me down.

Lol this place hasn't changed. The other day they were closed as there was no staff. Management and the owners need to get a grip but I know they won't. I used to work for them absolutely vile company

I have been using this pharmacy for about a year now and have only experienced welcoming and helpful staff. Great staff great attitude great service.

Don't go, literally don't bother. No staff despite it being open so I couldn't get any new prescriptions. It's literally just a display case for medicines they won't let you have.

Not the best Pharmacy. Always seems to take a while and the Pharmacist isn't as friendly or as good at giving advice as Lindsey and Gilmour on Chesser Road.
