Shocking service. I was in a car accident on Sunday and my partner is suffering from whiplash. Monday she phoned up and was told a doctor will get in touch today. Well they did. They sent me a text message with a link to the NHS page on whiplash, which we had already read. I tried to text back to ask a few questions and tell them they had texted me and not my partner. Didn’t work. So I phoned up again and got told someone will phone my partner by 6pm on Monday. It is now Thursday and still nothing. This is not an isolated incident. A few years ago I repeatedly tried and failed to get an appointment through the online booking system when I was seriously ill. Granted they have since removed this system, but the quality of service is still the same. Time and time again this surgery has failed me and my loved ones, and I would recommend to anyone reading this to leave ASAP, as me and my partner will be doing.

When I first joined Unity Health the telephone system was very frustrating. But it's now vastly improved. It can take a while to get through but it lets you know where you are in the queue so you can decide if you want to hang on. Once I have got through I've found the receptionists to be friendly and helpful. The doctors and nurses I've seen have also been brilliant, explaining everything carefully and never talking down to me.

Always get an appointment if needed, you can get your prescriptions done online (if repeat) and have them dropped to your nominated pharmacy for collection and you can usually speak to reception after a small wait on the phone. For the amount of patients they see they always remain professional, polite and positive.
