Quality swimming pool, it also has a very nice diving pool. Changing rooms need upgraded. Very fair price. £4.20 for as long as you want. Pool is not too busy, so is a good place for a relaxing swim.

Reviewing swimming pool, not school. I've brought my kids here loads over the past few years. Pros: Great wee baby pool with floats and chute. Regular section for swimming and a decent diving pool. Cafe is nice with a small soft play room for toddlers. Con: Changing rooms are dated but not a major issue.

This review is for the swimming pool rather than the school itself. This pool isn't run by Edinburgh Leisure so has very low prices. Kids pool is nice for wee ones with lots of floats and a slide. It is used by an interesting cross section of society... And you come into very close contact with them since it is communal changing :-/

A terrible place The building is run down. It may have been state of the art at one point, but a little maintenance would help. The changing rooms for the pool were open plan with no family changing. My wife and I usually help each other get our baby changed. Can't do that here as we're all separate. Had to walk through bogging toilets to get to pool. Pool had very little natural light as was showing its age. Pool looks like a Butlins pool from the 60s. People trying to do lengths just get in the way, due to how the pool is set up. Only good things were, a small slide in toddle pool and diving boards are always fun. Will not be back again unless some major improvements are carried out

Went here on a whim today & I'm surprised it's still in business. Firstly, the changing rooms are all open with no privacy at all. They'r so run down & the smell of urine is so strong it made me feel sick. The showers & toilets were in a sorry state too. The water in the showers was scalding hot, even for me who likes it rather warm. I chose to go on an October holiday so I was expecting it to be busy but the kids that were there were just running amok. The lifeguards just didn't care what the kids were doing (throwing themselves off the diving boards any which way, splashing others around them, non swimmers in deep end. I could go on!). I couldn't stay for too long because of these issues & when I left the pool to get changed, the lockers wouldn't open so she had to get the master key to open them up. I feel like I have gotten multiple diseases just from going here. I'm no prude at all but this place is honestly shockingly bad. Avoid like the plague & spend your money at a better place than this!! Edinburgh council should be ashamed of themselves.
