Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum glasgow

One of my favourite museums in the world, I visit every time I find myself in Glasgow! If you are lucky, you might stumble upon a recital on their massive pipe organ - it was an excellent experience when I did, a lovely surprise. Also a must see is the gorgeous painting "Christ of Saint John of the Cross", by Salvador Dali. Unfortunately it was away on a loan the last time I visited - hopefully I'll see it on my next trip there!

This is a fantastic museum! Lots to see and child friendly. Could spend the whole day here quite happily. Beautiful, grand building and free entry! Happy to leave a donation. Well worth a visit.

Lovely museum and has a large interactive area for kids. Loved the gift shop. Was a Linda McCartney photo exhibit while we were there, fascinating. There is a restaurant on first floor and snacks on second. The building outside should be admired also.

This museum is amazing knowledge sources. We can learn from ancient Egypt until the modern design and the interaction of human and nature. It is an inclusive museum for anybody, any age, without any barriers. Learning on how human interacted and expressed their thoughts, ideas for their interests, existences, and signatures made us live. Must visit!

It's free! Has so much to see and do, my 4yo loves the animals and dinosaurs. We have been countless times and he still loves it. Very limited parking so if you can get the subway I'd recommend that. It can get pretty busy in the wee cafe at weekends and school holidays so be prepared to queue!

A wonderful way to spend a Summer afternoon. Walk through the park to the museum and back again. Lovely. The dinosaurs are not local but it's still fun to walk under and around. The art is spectacular and sometimes amusing. Something for everyone over age 7.

Visited the museum today with my daughter and grandchildren. It was great to see it open again. The children loved it and the adults thoroughly enjoyed it too. A special mention must be made of the team at the museum. They were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. They made our visit extra special, so a big thank you to them all.

I have always enjoyed the Gallery. Thought our 3 year plan grandson would enjoy it but the interactive displays were closed..pity. He said the museum was too dark...but he enjoyed the lifts.
