Definitely a good place for an interesting walk but, like so many of the UK's older cemeteries, many of the gravestones have had to be laid flat to stop them falling on to people. A problem encountered far less on the continent. The council could enhance the place if they made it clear where the notable graves (Stan Laurel's mum, first captain of Seville's football club etc.) are sited. Also needs fallen branches, trees and leaves clearing.

Either an eerie or a calm and quiet place depending on the weather. A good place to go and gather your thoughts, I find. Full of toppled & smashed gravestones (from high winds, not vandals, I understand) so it feels like part of an abandoned civilization. I can't give it 5 stars seeing as it doesn't seem well looked after, but that is most of the charm!

Peaceful great dog walking place, top of the hill offers city wide views down the clyde also. Shame the older sections are fully overgrown but also nice to see nature untouched. On the trails through the woodlands its easy to mask the fact your in a city. Great spot.

I have had the privilege of exploring Auld Cathcart Cemetery/Linn Cemetery/Linn Cemetery. And the the beautiful venture into Linn Park and the stunning Snuff Mill. I've always had my children and dogs with us on these ventures. Many friendships of the doggie world. It saddens my heart to see the brutal effect lockdown is having on our fawn & ferrar . And the inexperienced and judgfemental attiditude that other park companies present towards our "family compaions/dogs . I like meny Netherlee doggie people are up and out from 6am to 8am. To avoid it all Netherlee Resident in 😔😪
