Staff lacks ability of making people welcome. Too much effort too ask..." was everything to your liking ?? " and too busy to say goodbye to their guests when leaving. Food excellent, however.

Excellent menu, rubbish and expensive takeaway. Really disappointing.

Good, well priced food. Situated in a good position in the Finnieston area of Glasgow, which now houses some of the best quality restaurants and pubs.

Great food and price

Disappointing food and certainly not value for money. We ordered takeaway from here last night and were looking forward to it as the menu looked really good. We paid over £30.00 for 2 veggie starter, 2 vegetable mains and for two of the world's smallest chapatis. It was soooo disappointing!!!!!! We have been really loyal customers to Mother India for many years but recently their standard in their Dining Inn restaurant have really slipped therefore we were in the market for a new haunt and we thought the Ashoka Finnieston would fit the bill, but it fell very short of the mark. Our vegetable pakora portion was very small, the pakora was tasteless and the starter tandoori Paneer was bland, bland, bland!!!! Our main course of vegetable pardesi and the mixed vegetable porayi was tolerable but a bit of an amateur cooks attempt at best. Waiter who took our order was a bit too " cool for school"...... The only redeeming factor of my experience were the two lovely waitresses who I had a good chat with. Won't be back..... Expensive and lacking in quality would be my summation of this experience.

Have been having takeaways since march last year and they have never let me down. Hands down the best one in town with their authentic flavour and dishes that never seem to get boring.

I've had many takeaways from AF but the most recent occasions have been far away from the high quality that I know they can produce. Quality diminishes the moment they get busy but yet they never seem to want to maintain the quality of their orders in favour of fulfilling as many as possible. Portion sizes are getting smaller and now one must carefully select through the menu to find value. I'd recommend to avoid the starters: they don't score well with cost against quality and value. Estimated delivery / pick up times area a bug bear as these short times are often doubled or tripled. I value my time and I have been kept waiting too long.

Best lamb dish I've had,will be returning, staff excellent.

One of the best meals out in Glasgow we had during our holiday. We walked passed the restaurant on our way to another the day before and the smell made us immediately book a table for the next day. Service was great. Food was without fault. Thank you!
