This dry cleaner was recommended to me by a friend. Here are the good things about it. It looks quite polished on the outside and the staff look quite professional in their uniforms. They have a sign outside saying they will dry-clean your suit if you are unemployed and have a job interview (charitable work good stuff). I had used their services once before and it seemed fine. Here comes the bad part unfortunately: I brought in a cherished and expensive beige trench coat, it was to be dry-cleaned. And a M&S shirt, recently washed and ironed, with the top button missing. As you can see from the photos. The instructions on the coat were clearly ignored (rain coats have a special cotton coating which is waterproof and should not be ironed). When I received it, all nicely wrapped up in they plastic bag, it was still moist from the steaming/ironing which has most likely permanently wrinkled it! They signature pin on the collar was not taken off resulting in the chrome falling off. (I would have hoped that since they run a dry-cleaning business they would know if things like this get damaged during the process) My shirt which only had a button to be fixed, now has a stain on the front! Hopefully it will come off with the next wash. Finally the button is sewn so tight that it creates a weird crease and it just pops open. I was deeply saddened by this, when I buy clothes I really try to make the most of them and keep them for years but with damage like this I don't know if I could wear them in formal settings anymore.
