Majestic Laundrette glasgow

I was staying in the City Center at a hotel that uses them (The Apex). I called them to ask if I can have some items washed in cold and others in warm. After 10 rings, someone finally picked up and said that was fine. There was no mention of this being an extra cost. (They already charge £12.50 for a tiny bag). I fit everything into their designated tiny bag, yet they decided to charge me £25 for two TINY bags of clothes because I said some were machine wash warm and some were machine wash cold (which the labels say anyway). They never bothered contacting me, though my email and phone number were BOTH on their receipt they can't read apparently. On top of that, the cold-washed clothes smelled HORRIBLE with a foul moldy odor I just discovered upon returning home. So, I have to wash this again now anyway. Oh - and everything washed in warm is no longer as soft as it had been which is sort of irritating (really) for underwear. Ask your hotel if your clothes are going to Majestic & avoid them. I could've done 18 loads of laundry here for what they charged me for 2...and they wouldn't have smelled like mold. Despite how much business they get from the Apex, they refused to refund a penny. Disgusting.

As many folks are doing my wife and I are on an almost 2 week trip around the UK. I significantly overestimated our ability to do laundry. During our Glasgow stop I found a few places, but most had websites that were just impossible to follow. Majestic Laundry's site was informative and let me know what I needed. I had a couple of questions I sent via email. Response was prompt, friendly and told me what I needed. For a great rate they picked up from my hotel, did a simple wash/dry/fold service and had everything back to my hotel that same afternoon. These folks are EXACTLY what a traveler is looking for in Glasgow to get laundry done.

Not recommended. Don't be surprised if you are going to be asked to pay additional money after wash (underpayment)

Machines work, people are really friendly, reasonable price. Close to several spots for a drink or some bites while your laundry is in process. Nothing to complain about.

Used the pick and delivery service for a sleeping bag and duvet. Great service. Everything was back with me within 24 hours. Would definitely recommend.
