my experience is very bad I left my car there to repair Roof Light rear, Major Service, A/C repair, Hand brake also request them to do complete health check if any other issue I would prefer to go for repair rather than to have s unreliable car, I got my car back 28/11/19 with assurance that car is an excellent condition well tested. Form the same day car not even starting up properly while there was no issue with the car to start up before. They fixed the rear root light but front stop working, I took car back to them Mr Alan who introduce himself as a Manager was very rude arrogant ask me to pay even to check the car. I was surprised when he said we don’t say ppl to come here they can go anywhere .What an unprofessional, rude person I found him don’t deserve for that responsible post (Manager). His behavior reminds me one of customer (Elaine Atwood) f.b review 26September calls them crook I am totally agreed with him. I received call form there someone who also introduce himself as Manager supporting Mr Alan ask me to pay another £477.00 to fix the issue . I don’t recommend this place especially for repair. Service staff is good but Manager and repair staff will make sure to realize you done biggest mistake of your life to go there and will test your patient level.

Would highly recommend Macklin Motors Ford. We recently bought a Mazda2 and the service we got from Richard was amazing!! He made sure we understood everything we were getting and got us a deal within our budget! Richard has also been great at following up now a week later to make sure everything is okay with the car and answering any questions we have! We are so happy with both the car and the service we received!!

I would recommend you avoid the service department at all costs. My experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth. My car was in for a small piece of work. While there, they carried out a vehicle health check, without my permission, after which my bonnet latch no longer worked. It took some time to get them to engage with me on this (and only after I’d emailed digitalcustomerexperience@verrtumotors who are based outwith the Glasgow office). They agreed to look into the issue but, if they found no fault on their part, they would charge me an investigation fee of £95. This was waived after I objected to it. Their investigation subsequently found no fault on their part and it would cost £170 to have the latch replaced. I opted not to proceed at that cost. They were able to reduce the price to £145 but again I declined (the cost to them of the part required was around £60 including VAT). I subsequently received a call explaining that they had removed the latch to investigate the issue and that my bonnet was not secure and could open while driving. Their solution was to use cable ties to tie my bonnet down. Fortunately, they found another solution which involved using the broken latch to lock the bonnet shut. This made it more difficult for someone else to replace but at least it was better than cable ties. In amongst all of this, I was quoted £130 to supply and fit a rear drop link on my car. This cost me £45 to have done elsewhere. I really hope I have no cause to use this service again.

Had my 2017 low mileage Focus ST in for 4 year service. Please be aware the coolant cap on Focus & Fiesta models has a "KNOWN" fault. It basically breaks leaving the expansion tank plugged with the inner seal on the cap. You would probably expect the ford " techs " to remove this with long nosed pliers & a screw driver. Then they could just fit a new cap. No! you get charged for a complete new expansion tank, cap & coolant £120.00! Then as a special courtesy they replaced my fob battery 50/70p with I think a solid sterling silver one for £4.17. Check your cap before service to avoid this nonsense.

Excellent service in dealing with warranty issue. Referred me to their specialist dealership for my car, assuring me there would be no charge for repair. Other dealership have ordered part and now await date for fitting. Very good all round.

Have used Macklin Motors at Kennishead on two occasions and been very happy with all aspects of customer service pre and post purchase of car. Consistent standard of professional service delivered with warmth and also with attention to detail. Ashley Gledhill in sales reflects the company's focus on delivering a high standard of customer care alongside the wider team at Kennishead Road. Particularly impressed with her attention to detail and responding to queries promptly. Would highly recommend Kennishead Road dealership and will definitely use again in the future.
