My children bought me a white gold locket and I wanted a slightly larger chain. I took it back to the shop in Argyll arcade and asked if I could have a larger chain and I woul pay the difference. I didn't have the receipt on me but stated I had it in the house somewhere. The assistant checked the computer and verified the necklace had indeed been bought in that store. She opened a cupboard which was full of chains and got me another. I thought perfect! She then asked me for the full price of another chain which was over £90 stating that they couldn't swap over the chains. I was gobsmacked and very angry. I then left and bought another chain much cheaper elsewhere. Be warned if considering buying necklaces from this shop. Appalling customer service. S. Millar
