We had a Krispy Kreme doughnut wall at our wedding. The wall itself went down very well with guests, it was the customer service that let this company down .
Just before the wedding it took almost a week of sending emails, texts and FB messages before I got a response to confirm times for delivery of the wall.
On the night it arrived an hour earlier than booked, ruining the surprise for our guests when it appeared in the room while we were still sitting at dinner .
We had paid for personalised bags but did not get these. When I raised this as in issue I was told the containers we had been given were more popular and more expensive. That didn't matter, it wasn't what we wanted. It would also have been good customer service to ask us if this was an acceptable alternative in advance or even during delivery on the day. After I complained we did end up getting a refund on the extra we had paid for the bags.
We had also been promised 6 filled doughnuts but they were all rings. When I asked about this I was told there was no note of this. Even when I sent on the email I had stating this I didn't even get an acknowledgement never mind an apology.
It really is a shame as if it hadn't been for these issues, that could so easily have been rectified, I would have given a 5 star rating .
