To review you must give at least one star. I wouldn't even give them one star. I went for my MOT in November only to turn up and be told they didn't have an MOT tester in their employment, despite me booking it in October. No phone call to cancel. Nothing. Had to drive out to Kirkintilloch to get it done - huge inconvenience. My husband booked his car in for his MOT in October to have it done today. He phoned last week to check they had a tester - yes, they have a tester. We turn up this morning to be told tester is not in!!!!! No phone call AGAIN to cancel. When I spoke, at length to the area manager in November, he assured me these issues would be addressed, in particular the communication issues. I cannot believe an organisation of this size cannot pick up the phone to cancel MOTS. The guy in the branch said he is on his own and doesn't have time to phone people - but he has time to deal with angry customers turning up at the centre? This does not make any sense whatsoever! The time he spent dealing with us at the desk and phoning other branches, without success I may add, he could have phoned us at 9am and cancelled. I got a free MOT with my last debacle, but after today, I won't use it. Halfords Clydebank are finished as far as I am concerned. Their staffing issues and their inability to communicate with customers is outrageous.
