When arriving at the hotel I had a lovely greeting from the receptionist (can’t remember her name) where she handed me a delicious cookie. When I got to my room it was great, lovely and clean and lots of room. The gym is well equipped and one of the better hotel gyms I have used. I did not use the pool but seemed a bit small but clean. At the dinner the service was slick. The staff extremely friendly and the food equally delightful. At breakfast there was a great choice of food and juices to choose from. Check out was nice and quick. The location of the hotel is pretty good only a few minutes walk from shops and both train stations. I have stayed in quite a few Glasgow hotels and this one may be the best one I have stayed in. Would defined recommend

Perfect for staying in the city centre, couldn't fault a thing. Very welcoming staff and the warm chocolate cookie you get when checking in was a brilliant touch. The rooms were spotless and well equipped with a massive, very comfortable bed. The cask bar was lovely, well stocked and reasonably priced for the city centre. Good quality buffet breakfast with again very helpful and pleasant staff. Would love to stay here again.

Highly recommend this hotel been there a few weeks ago and the service was really good. I am from Spain and there was a really nice young waitress that spoke Spanish that made my meals in the restaurant really enjoyable. Definitely 5 stars!

Enjoyed a two night stay, room was a good size and really clean. Enjoyed breakfast both days. Did not have time for the pool and gym but looked to be of a good standard. Better information regarding food options of an evening and we may of dined here instead of going out.

Stayed here for 3 weeks on a recent business trip. Hotel was clean and tidy albeit room could have done with a bit of maintenance and a tidy up. Staff were great and very attentive. Food was what you’d expect in a hotel, nothing special but not bad either. The location of this hotel is great, a short walk into the city centre for all the bars, restaurants and shops.

Not enough staff at times.. The restaurant is closed during the week evenings, forcing you to eat in the bar, with poor tables to eat from. Good foods, will add extras. Friendly staff.. Some attention to detail needs addressing.. A nail holding part of a fire exit sign from dropping from the ceiling. Noisy doors.. Cigarette burns in the curtains. Air con not working only at night. Amazing beds.. Clean.. No room cleaning done in 8 days, even tho told every 3 days... Drinks expensive Food expensive 10oz steak £25 see pic... Need more salads

Great start with an early check in. Standard double room was very clean and of a decent size. Pool area was good and was also kept clean. Bar area was heaving due to an afternoon/evening function. Breakfast was very good with an excellent selection of hot and cold breakfast options. We went at 8.30am and we're glad we did as it was very busy from around 9am onwards. Overall a good place for an overnight stay.
