Lovely warm room , beds are really comfortable, spotlessly clean . Shower is huge with dual heads, rainfall option is a must. Fluffy towels, tea and coffee, room safe, toiletries. Special mention for Les the concierge, went above and beyond to make my husband's birthday a very special occasion. Thank you. Highly recommended , excellent location

Attended an event. The staff where very attentive and helpful. The hotel itself is amazing & the party venue was also fantastic. The hotel itself is ideal for shopping trips and activities in and around the city due to being so close to Central station (the hotel can actually be accessed from the station) a must stay.

A centrally located hotel full of character, ideal for city breaks to Glasgow. Some floors are in the process of refurbishment though that was hardly noticeable during our stay. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. W attended a function there - perfect!

The room was very clean and cosy and the bathroom was lovely. Went down for some drinks and food and that was delicious! Then had the best sleep ever. True luxury.

Room was adorable, service was immaculate and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Restaurant has been painted and it's much nicer ... bright and welcoming. My only criticism is that our room had a green light on a plug socket I think up above the wardrobe which I found made it difficult to sleep. My husband wasn't bothered by it though.

We loved this hotel! Excellent location, extra fluffy pillows and comforters, very clean. Ambiance of the chandelier in the staircase and the chandelier dining room and bar was perfection. And my favorite thing about this hotel was the staff. They're incredibly helpful for recommendations and booking last minute tours. They even made us a cute and delicious breakfast to go when we had an early bus tour to go to. This is the only hotel I'll stay at in Glasgow.

Previous visit to champagne bar was so great we were excited to return and stay over this time. Hardly left from check in to check out to make the most of our stay. Check in slightly chaotic with no clear queue but once checked in, stay was faultless. Entered champagne bar and saw the pair who served us last time, Kris and Mirren and we were thrilled. The pair once again delivered an exquisite experience. Tried the special festive cocktails which had been invented by Kris himself!! A very talented man, these were so tasty. Sat by window and spent a wonderful few hours people watching. Thank you again to our server Mirren who took great care of us and was extremely knowledgeable about bar and hotel! Beautiful place, great atmosphere! Rooms are modern and comfortable, one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in!! (If there is a way to pass on some further comments directly to management about staff in particular, this would be greatly appreciated?)

Excellent location - right at Central Station it even had an exit directly to the station concourse. Some stunning period features in the hotel. My room 409 was very comfortable, clean and the bed was very very comfy. Heating controls for the room were easy, but sadly the bathroom was an ice box. The very large bathroom was heated by an electric towelrail which was not switched on when I fit to the room, there were no instructions to give a clue how it worked and I've never seen any like this before. I got it working but there was no way it could possibly be expected to heat the very large generous proportioned space. minus a 🌟 I could have asked for another room, but it was late and I was tired. I have online feedback to the hotel (at their request) ticked the box for them to speak to me. Six days later no contract. minus another 🌟 Friendly staff at Check In and Check Out (didn't ask if I enjoyed my stay) Very good buffet breakfast - sanitisers available at all the self-service points. Warm plates for the cooked items. A milk alternative to suit every taste. Place deserves 5 🌟 really and might have got it if they'd bothered to be in touch
