Really enjoyed our time here on Christmas day. Staff were great, well most of them were. Asked a simple question about the availability in the restaurant at reception, and was told to find out myself. Not what you would expect in this great Glasgow hotel.

The hotel is great. Tonight I was very let down by the standards of professionalism shown in 1) Customer care and 2) Knowledge of the Brand and the licensed trade Tonight I questioned the quality of the beer I had been served in the main bar. Unlike the many others I enjoyed over the past three days this was flat. All the other STELLA drinks were flowing with life to the point that napkins were required to clear up spillage. Tonight the drinks was served with a "head" but no life. The barman who identified himself as the "Bar Manager" said it was because the glasses were just out of the washer but because the beer had a "head" on it it was ok. I disagreed. He suggested I had the STELLA in a TENANTS glass. I declined and asked for another STELLA glass. After waiting a short time the Bar Manager had then attempted to dry a glass with a paper towel which I objected to. He poured another pint very begrudgingly .....the same effect. Dead beer with a "head". He insisted this was the beer glass and I added that an experienced licensee and someone with a license to serve beer that he should not have served it in the first place knowing it was not fit for purpose. I declined his offer and asked for a Tenants in a tenants glass. This he did and it was an adequate outcome until another member of the bar staff came up to me with another tenants pint and almost pushed it in my face saying "is this one good enough?" to which i said I was satisfied with my original. As i stood with friends enjoying my Tenants I watched the original two STELLA glasses go flat on he bar top. This is a long story to recommend anyone buying a drink at the bar in the Crown Plaza not to complain. The bar staff do not respect customers and certainly cannot take any form of constructive comment and make you feel intimidated.

A quality hotel for the Finnieston area of Glasgow. The location, right by the River Clyde, is great. Views are stunning. Staff are efficient and happy to help. All the facilities and services you want from a big hotel. The rooms are good. Beds big and comfortable. Everything is clean. Good room service and bar food. And the breakfasts are the best, with plenty on offer. I've stayed here many times over the years and the occasional snag aside, my experience has usually been comfortable and hassle-free. I'd recommend.

We had or office party night at the hotel on Saturday 7th December. We were in one of the smaller rooms but everything was fantastic. The food and music was great. The DJ was brilliant and started the party off straight away and kept the dance floor full all night. Just be careful if you are taking your car. The car park doesn't belong to the hotel.

I had such a joyous morning, walked down to have a cooked breakfast, sat for a while then went in for a swim. There were a few ladies in the pool and they were having such a nice morning chatting together and laughing. It was really happy atmosphere. The young lady called Eve in the restaurant is one of the nicest waitresses I have ever come across and the gentleman called George in the bar was very friendly and made me laugh. David and William in the gym are so obliging and give the highest standard of service. All the staff were very smiley and friendly today. Huge thank you. I had such a blessed morning.

Went for the 5pm.co.uk Sunday roast/brunch. Plenty choice on the buffet, all well cooked & piping hot. All dishes topped up quickly. Lovely desserts & endless tea & coffee. Wee point off for people not wearing masks & kids handling food!

Modern hotel with sociable bar on entrance, great rooms with the usual facilities, and they were spotless. Menu choices were great and the food was delicious. Also had a good choice for breakfast. Only negative was that we didn't get access to our rooms until after 6pm, a complimentary drink would have been appreciated...great stay, will return :)
