Part of Paisleys showpiece architectural town cente along with the the even more impressive Abbey which is situated just opposite. This building dates back to one of the golden ages for Paisley ( and theres been more than one), and its love affair with thread which created a surplus of wealth and the funds for iconic buildings like this.
