Fantastic all round! Been looking for a wee gem like this for a while since one of our favourite fine dining restaurants closed. Warmly welcomed in to the restaurant and seated promptly. Staff were bubbly and friendly throughout, attentive but not overbearing like they were trying too hard. Genuinely felt like they were happy to be there. The food was beautiful. My wife particularly liked the rabbit starter and i loved the fillet of beef main - the ox cheek wellington was full of flavour and a real treat. Everything was seasoned to perfection and packed full of flavour. For what you get on the plate, my descriptions won't do it justice. Desserts finished of the meal nicely. Would highly recommend the trio of desserts to get a little taste of everything. The restaurant itself was very busy and quite loud, but it created for a warm and comfortable setting for our meal. If you are looking for fine, modern, Scottish food - give Wee Lochan a try. You wont be disappointed.
