I enjoyed my stay so much I actually wish I booked another night! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was just what I needed after a morning of travelling. When I arrived they gave me a complimentary welcome drink and shortbread which I thought was a lovely touch. The rooms were clean and cozy. The breakfast was also very good and massive. If you are staying here don’t forget to visit the Piping Society’s museum next door!

I had a lovely stay at the Pipers Tryst Hotel. This was my second time visiting this summer. Great hosts and crew, cozy breakfast and clean rooms. The location is convenient and the atmosphere different from other city hotels. We also enjoyed dinner there one night and it was very tasteful. Thank you for the warm hospitality and for the welcoming whiskey at check-in. Took this picture last night to remember this beautiful special Hotel.

The food here was simply fantastic: everything was made from scratch with fresh ingredients. The chef came out to describe his preparation of the sea bass. It was scrumptious and beautifully presented. A blend of art and science to dazzle the eye and the palate.

We had to rebook this a few times due to virus. We attended on Sat. The restaurant was empty apart from us. The meal was superb we had soft drinks inside and our wine outside where there were 4 takes. The only problem I would like to make is that the outside area could have been at least swept and and removal of cigarette butt's there was also spillage from the night before. The restaurant is worth a visit.
