It was just ok. Comfortable beds and good sized standard rooms. Could do with an upgrade as very tired, although I understand that some rooms have been refurbished. Decent breakfast but go out for dinner as only bar food and not great. Service at reception was pretty good. Pool was lovely, but sauna was out of service. Changing rooms and showers were very old and dated. Stale smell in them too. Although I didn't use the spa I did see the treatment rooms, not very nice at all. Overall a decent budget hotel but don't overpay.

Nice Hotel. Friendly staff. Good facilities. Decor in the rooms a little dated although very comfortable and clean. Food was reasonable for pub grub if a little over priced. Overall a nice place to stay. Good access to city centre and Hydro.

Booked an apartment and upgraded it to a superior on the promise of a good view from Booking.com....the view was of a concrete building! Not worth the extra 35 pound per night... The room itself was really nice and comfortable...but considering there was a small kitchen in the apartmwnt, there wasn't.any cutlery or crockery so pretty pointless....I raised this with the staff and I wasn't impressed with contradictory answers. The spa was OK and clean but the steam room was out of order and the sauna wasn't working properly....not great to be honest. The water was warm though. I raised these issues at reception when checking out and received a.shrug of the shoulders.... Oh well, we had a great night in Glasgow anyway.... Mixed bag overall! Loved the room....despite the lack of promised view...but service and facilities let the hotel down.

Staying here 2 nights. Huge clean comfortable bed in large room, good sized tv. Nice bathroom with bath. Maybe slightly tatty, scratched furniture and finishes in bathroom not neat (round the door) but didn't detract at all, just needs a little attention at some stage. Room 323. Staff are all extremely helpful and friendly, special mention for Jess at reception who was really helpful to my husband who's booking had gone awry via living social. Note to others, if booking through a voucher system - always phone this hotel direct to confirm your booking, as there seems to be a glitch in the voucher company's system!
