I attended HHS in the 1940's before my family emigrated to Canada in 1947. In Toronto, when Mom & Dad registered me for school, the faculty were amazed at my reading/writing and math abilities but refused to place me in an appropriate grade/class due to my age. My recollections of Hillhead are of a challenging, but happy and rewarding experience. I fondly still own the original school tie and blazer crest. When my wife and I visited the school in October of 2012 for my first visit to Glasgow since, the current administration showed no interest. Regrettable.........
