As far as the course I was on, the quality of the teaching was somewhat questionable, and for the work required, the computer facilities were inferior compared to elsewhere.

5/ 5

There are many things that I could say about adult education programs at the West College Scotland. And sure, I could have given less than five stars - three, four or two perhaps depending on the aspect of my experience that I'm focusing on. However, my personal, subjective memories of West College Scotland are so overwhelmingly positive that I simply do not want to dwell on the negatives. There is one thing that never ceases to amaze me as a foreigner in Scotland. I admire the patience, tolerance, sense of tact and unconditional positive regard that people around me and myself keep receiving from our educators. It can be frustrating at times to do things for the first time, to try and fail and not give up. And it can probably very trying for the teachers to explain the same thing over and over again or demonstrate primitive things to people who have never attempted them. And each and every one of us has some ego packed in the chest that we carry around wherever we go, whatever we do. To impart knowledge without adding to one's emotional baggage is perhaps one of the hardest things in the world. I'm not going to list the names for the fear of leaving someone out. The teachers and the admin staff, I want to thank you all - I left the college a better person than I was before meeting you guys.
