Hillfoot Clinic leeds

Impossible to get a routine non-urgent appointment at this surgery. When I phone they will not give me an appointment anytime in the future but insist I phone at 7.30am / 8am to book a same-day appointment. This is not practical as I have a demanding job and have to travel around this time. Please make your practice more friendly to hard young working people.

Used to be able to book an appointment in a few days time or next available. Now they only take that days, wont offer next days, and you have to call each day at 7:30am (clever when we actually have to get to work). Not common sense at all. Most unhelpful receptionist...used to be really good here.

Most unhelpful receptionists I have ever met. Everything is an issue, a problem and they can't help in the slightest. You'd find it easier asking the tax man for a month off than getting them to assist you. The doctors are lovely if you make it past this band of gatekeepers.

I can NEVER get an appointment. Get told to call at 7.30am can call up to 100 times and not get through then when you do get through no appointments. Can’t get in to the surgery at that time on a morning due to medication and not being able to drive on set medication. Receptionists completely rude and unhelpful, whilst in the waiting room overheard a receptionist telling an elderly gentleman(who was asking about medication) that she ‘couldn’t tell him because that’s above her pay grade!) rather than explaining he would need to speak to a dr. On arrival there is 9/10 nobody behind the desk and when they open the door to come speak to you, you can clearly hear them discussing their weekends and what they’ve been up to. Only reason I attend here is due to the nice drs and nurses. I think the reception team need a training course on how to treat patients. I understand the pressure they are under, however when patients usually call it is because they are in pain so a few manors here and there wouldn’t go a miss.

Reception are awful and misserable. Only reason I am still with this clinic is due to dr Sixsmith and the nursing staff.

I am confused at the low ratings below, I have been with this surgery since 2006 and by far it the best doctors surgery I have ever had. The doctors are very caring and thorough, receptionists do try and help when they can, although recently I have spoken to 1 very unhelpful receptionist, but 1 New unhelpful person doesn't make me want to forget ask the good oon this surgery. And E consults are very easy to put through and are dealt with quickly .

Staff behind the desk are so rude and unprofessional and called secretary.Docter are good worse reception

I got the covid vaccine here. The doctors (professionals) are friendly and great. It would great if the receptionists are more patient and more helpful, especially when answering calls. Every patience's circumstance is different and we are not professionals so we need your help.

Been having problems for over two months, keep filling in online e consults, and the doctor in question reply’s by a no reply email address and dose t help at all, won’t ring me up to help me out, won’t give me an appointment, I need help I’m only 26 and this surgery will not help me, only nice doctor is dr fielden and it’s difficult to get an appointment with him, probably because he’s the only caring doctor there, all the nurses are great and do a fantastic job, the other doctors Are rude, uncaring and just bothered about getting paid or getting home, will nit help you if you need it, when I’m eventually diagnosed and getting better I will be putting in a formal complaint against the doctor in question, avoid this surgery if at all possible

Work during the week and I am not able to be excused to take a telephone consultation until 4. You cannot ask for times to be called when you are free.
