Have Called at 8 am for a week to get a appointment and on hold for 30 mins each time. Then told no appointments and to book one when next available which is the end of November. Or to go to a walk in clinic. Receptionist was rude and trying to talk over me and no concern or apology or empathy for my frustration! I tried the online consultation only for it to tell me that I need to go to A&E immediately or call 999 but all I want is to see a doctor or nurse practitioner before wasting time and resources at the hospital. Will definitely be finding another practice. I would give no stars if that was an option!

I was seeing someone from phisio for my sprained wrist and in the duration of the consultation I was told that I poked the inflammation on my wrist as if I was deliberately causeing myself pain when I can recall gently touching the surface of the inflammation on my wrist and I was trying to show him it wasnt hurting and I had tried to explain it didn't hurt and he never thought to ask where the route of the pain was it wasn't painful to touch it was when I moved it I felt he had made an assumption by saying I had been watching you poke your wrist for the last ten minutes it will hurt I never told him the inflammation on my wrist was hurting me for him to make an assumption like that I was left feeling like I had been blamed for doing something I didn't do then he went on to say come back if I experience more pain I thought I would rather not i felt it was just impolite and rude and disrespectful of what I was going through at the time I didn't deserve to be treated like that I will make sure I dont get the physican in future and I will make a complaint if it happens again i would like to warn anyone about the physican in this practice he can be very rude and disrespectful even though it seems helpful at the time.

Up until yesterday nothing but praise for the practice. A complex issue arose around my elderly parents (87&91) with various health professionals involved. The ongoing reluctance of GPs to visit particularly the elderly and infirm is of great concern and is a major factor concerning the already understaffed ambulance service. The non existence of empathy and so called bedside manner of certain individuals and the ability to follow a simple instruction from another health professional is alarming. I am not a patient at this practice.

Middleton surgery the receptionist called James was rude and arrogant. He doesn't know anything and not helpful he cut phone on me when I was asking him how would I get appointment since I have been calling for days at 8am to get sick note and prescriptions from doctor since I need to speak to doctor to get one. I asked his name so that I will refer to that the next Day I call and refused appointment again. This surgery is poor on number 2 or 3 they tell you no appointments for the day and cut you off line if you question them how and why you can't get appointment for days and asked to call next day to be told same thing. James refused to give full name and cut line
