The museum is very extensive and unique. You find weaponry of all sorts and of all the ages of mankind gathered in this place. For people interested in military history this is definitely worth visiting. The entrance is for free. The only thing that you have to pay is crossbow shooting but that is not a must however it is optionally available as well.

If you're looking to have a social function or event then this is a great location. The rooms are large and accommodating.....and you're able to witness a spot of culture too with the armoury displays!!! The only couple of downsides for me would be not having toilets on each floor (So you have a bit of a trek if on the wrong level) and they could do with more bar staff. Overall that an amazing venue and fantastic night.

This is an amazing place. Incredibly large and so informative. My one comment would be that it needs a marked route so you don't miss anything (Covid or not). One member of our group had a mild panic attack as she felt lost and confused. To actually have free entry is amazing and when the activities are back on it will be even better

Leeds Armouries is not only a fantastic museum of artefacts threw time but the events they put on are brilliant. From inperson displays and talks within the Armouries building itself, to knights jousting and archery displays in the tiltyard, there's just so much to see! Highly recommended 👌 👍

A good place to spend a couple of hrs. There are plenty of things to look at and even a few live performances. There is a cafe on site and parking close by. Some of the exhibits are truly fascinating giving an in depth account of battles. Well worth a visit.
