Good mix of more traditional, modern and contemporary design. There also is the fact that the sofas are a good height without being old fashioned. I have noticed a lot of sofas being very very low in other shops. On the whole the staff are friendly and helpful without being pushy. Good displays and the flow of the shop is nice. Enough room for wheelchair and pushchair access.

The furniture we bought turns out to not be very comfortable. Won't be going here when it's time to replace. UPDATED APRIL 2019 Following this review Sofology customer services contacted me to discuss our issues. They sent a technician to have a look but found no manufacturing fault. Resulting email from customer service said furniture was manufactured to their standards. My view is that their standard is to low for the price charged. Awaiting further discussions with Sofology. UPDATED AUGUST 2019 No further help from Sofology and their view is case closed. Definitely not happy and absolutely will not shop with them again or recommend their products.

Please Do not buy from sofology. After reporting faults with their sofas after 9 months, they sent out an engineer which agreed with us the faults we had and also showed us more faults with the pictures he took. A few hours after his visit we got a message to say the sofa was up to standard and is a high maintenance sofa. We contacted the call centre who would rather argue with us about the faults than actually agree with the technicians report. If they were not going to take notice of the report then I don’t know why they send an engineer out. At the moment it seems they are unwilling to help us and tell us it’s up to standard. Please do not buy from this company

Absolutely terrible and horrendous post-sale customer service. Only buy if you want to experience terrible service. Ordered some reclining sofas with sliders. Sofa was delivered OK, but did not come with the power packs nor the sliders. Returned to the store and a member of staff raised a ticket with their Customer Care team. 3 days later a member of the care team contacted me and advised they will dispatch the items and should be with me within a week. 2 weeks later nothing. I returned to the store and was advised the items have been dispatched. At this point, I am going to assume the items may have been lost during transition. Another ticket was raised and I was expecting another call from the customer care team. 2 weeks on - no call from them. Tried to call customer care directly to find out what is going on, however, they are always busy with terribly long queues. If you do decide to do business with these guys, then prepare for a lot of frustration and time wasted.

Great at point of sale, sofa and chair shocking quality I've had sofas from next, Dfs and many more over the years, the one from sofology is by far the worst. And if you need to speak to customer service good luck with that, it ranged from 24-87th in a queue and when I did stay on the phone it cost me £49. On average it takes then over a week to respond to emails. In my opinion the company is as good as the customer service. Sofology should spend more on employing customer service operators and less on A list Hollywood stars doing their adverts.

Avoid the Layla sofa not fit for purpose. We recently purchased our first property and wanted a good quality sofa. We chose sofology which was a massive mistake. Both sofas we purchased had major issues within 6 months. When they sent out the expert to look over them it didn’t help matters when he informed me that the manufacturer was very poor and he gets called out to deal with these sofas regularly. Initially when we got a credit note we thought they’d be able to turn it around for us and give us a more positive first experience of buying a sofa. Sadly this was not the case it only got worse. We found one in store we really liked in the sale so we asked a member of staff in store if we could use our credit note against it. Whilst the answer was yes we got told that they cannot process credit notes in store and neither can they set the item aside whilst we ring up to get the credit note processed at which point he told us it could take up to an hour to get through On the phone. So I emailed them and initially got a very quick response so thought we were in safe hands and would be able to get the couch sadly this was not to be as we then get a voice mail saying we need to pay additional funds £900 which we instantly queried as the items we viewed in store came to less than our credit note. On this point I am still awaiting a satisfactory response from them as today to top things off I got a text message saying your sofa is nearly ready for delivery please login to arrange a delivery date only to see that the earliest date is 2nd March 2022! Which is surprising as they still haven’t provided a satisfactory response to my enquiry! Avoid them like the plague if you try and contact them regarding an ongoing fault on average there are at least 25 people before you in the queue with wait times of at least an hour. I would give less than one star if possible… Also when trying to get a refund it is almost impossible to get through on average there are 51 people already waiting to get a refund and after waiting on the phone for 5 hours previously to get through to someone we were not prepared to potentially wait another 5 hours. Never been so disappointed in a service and in general I enjoy leaving positive reviews

Went to look around the Birstall store and asked a question of the salesman (who was quick to tell me he didn't get any commission) He offered to send me some details of the sofa over email and asked for my details, I said no thanks I can find everything online on your website. His response was "you're the reason sofa shops go out of business". Rude, unnecessary and unprofessional. We left and bought from elsewhere.
