Excellent service, been going here for 2 years now

Malcolm has cut my hair for over 20 years and always does a brilliant job. Best barber i have used and have watched him do countless other haircuts over the years always in a professional manner. Have had numerous interesting chats and laughs - hardest working business man I have ever known.

Great place great cut

I've been going to Malcolm since I moved to Leeds 5 years ago, always get an excellent service and put the world to rights. Top bloke, knows his stuff and is always welcoming. I think some of the one star reviewers need to grow a thicker skin and learn how to have a bit of banter, also need to make sure they ask for what they want, barbers aren't mind readers!

The haircut was decent for £20 but not the best I’ve had by a long shot. The barber was patronising and belittling towards my knowledge of hair and my precious hairdressers skills. He could work on customer service, but perhaps he doesn’t need it with some loyal customers. I wouldn’t return or recommend.

Truly unique, fairly certain you cannot get the same care and techniques anywhere else in Leeds. Malcolm is a passionate professional that wants you to be pleased with the work, this is not a quick clippers in and out shop. It's worth it for the razor cut he uses alone which provides you a much thicker texture to your hair even if it is naturally fine. Highly recommended.

I've been coming here for the past 2+ years and can honestly say he is the best guy in town. He genuinely cares about how your hair is cut and shapes everything bespoke to you as an individual. He truely has a passion for styling and has ultimately mastered his craft. I love coming here and look forward to every visit, I know I will walk away looking fresher than anywhere else. If you're looking for a new barber/stylist then go check him out, I couldn't recommend Malcolm enough.

Malcolm at City Image is a brilliant hairdresser, he is chatty and knows his customers. In the past I have got bored with hairdressers but I must have been using Malcolm for 6 years and would not go anywhere else. I do not understand the 1 star reviews but if that means City Image isn't too full or busy then great!
