This morning I went to the King Edward Street due to having problems with my credit card! After been made to wait over 10 minutes because the arrogant girl on the front desk was speaking to some man about nothing which was work related! I finally got served. I informed this girl that my credit card had been declined. I had reason to believe this was because I had not updated my new address with Halifax, a statement was returned in the post after been sent to my old address. Her reply was 'it won't be that'. All she said to do was to phone the number on the back of my credit card to get the card sorted! She did stay I can still use my card to get money out, she was wrong about this as it for declined again after attempting to wiuthdraw money. I spoke to an advisor from Halifax contact centre who was much more informative and helpful. And what a surprise the card was declined due to the returned statement! Therefore, I was right and the advisor told me I was wrong even though it was infect her who was wrong! Poorly trained & even worse customer service! Coaching and feedback is recommended to prevent this happening again!

I never thought I would be able to have such a bad experience with a bank. nightmare. They opened an account for me, and once I have it and I gave my details to get transfers and do my stuff and GOT PAID, they block the account and will not let me take my money out. Not even one pound, MY MONEY. With my ID and every thing, in the branch. Because they say someone has decided that my letting agreement was not enough proof of adrees and they needed a bill. And since I do have all my bills included and that is not possible (as thew new when they opened it) I can not take my money, I can not eat, not any thing....CRAZY. 3 hours at phone, pasing me one to another. And then from 2pm to 5pm in the branch, same. They let me put money and do every thing but the with that data but they will not let me take it out with the same. Yo do have to put a star to write this down here, I would put a claim instead, but I already try and it was worthless :´(
