Awful experience, over an hour hold on the phone to be told that my phone bank security failed at some point in the past (they don't know when) and I need to go a branch with my proof of identity to update their records. I went to my local branch today to be told that there are several customers before me so wait in the queue as it may be 30 minutes to an hour before someone can take a copy of my driving licence. The advisor on the door didn't understand why I thought the service was appalling as the main excuse for everything going wrong in the world is "COVID-19". Extremely disappointed with HSBC. To post on here you are expected to give at least one star otherwise you are not allowed to post, do they deserve a start for this service I don't think so.
