This place is just perfect. We went for a lovely but chilly walk and finished up here after wanting to visit for ages and we weren't disappointed. Even from the outside it's special, and when you walk in its just a lovely fuzzy welcoming feeling of awesomeness. No.54 has so much quirky character, but natural, not forced. We sat at a beautiful, old arty table by the window and ordered full breakfasts. Everything on the plate was cooked perfectly and using great quality produce. I want to go back already, and can Imagine it being the perfect venue for a little celebration. Service was warm and friendly, and there's plenty of food choices to suit everyone. Resisted the cakes this time but I don't think that would happen next time!!!

5/ 5

There's a great mix of food from a full English breakfast to tasty vegetarian options and afternoon tea and you can even buy and take away the chairs you're sitting on! Add to that a pleasant and helpful staff and you have a satisfying meal out. O and their bacon banjos are the best in town.
