Hertz – Leeds Bradford International Airport – Car Rental Centre leeds

These guys are so great. Excellent service and excellent vehicle. The last 2 weeks I have used two of the competition and these guys are way way ahead. Great price great car.

they made us wait so long for a booking made weeks before, not accepting cards and identifications. after which, for a simple fine, they took 42 administration fees without telling you anything. I won't be going there again.

This is a terrible company. I booked a van and the day I went there to pick it up they started complaining and asking for a proof of address and they where not happy with anything, I even showed him a picture of my council tax letter. Even worse, I got a parking fine while using the van and not only I had to pay the fine, I also had to pay 42£ as administration fee while they did absolutely nothing.

Counter staff (deliberately?) misinformed me about refueling cost during rental pickup on two separate rentals in OCT 2019 and I ended up paying £227 for refueling on £90 rental. On both occasions refueling subject was brought up by the staff member in the conversation and they showed me a very decent rate which was written on a chalkboard (somewhere in the £1.35 region) and then informed me that this is what I will be charged if they need to refuel the car when I return it empty. At the time it seemd like a good deal because it was like 5-10p more to what petrol station charges. To cut the story short, second time I returned car it was almost empty(pic. below) because I was in a rush to get to my sick wife. Two weeks later when I looked at my credit card statement and I saw they charged me over £227 extra for refueling and other"services"!!!! Customer service infolinie was not very helpful and slightly rude lady blamed me for not reading the printed contract (£3.806 per liter+ vat) and she said I should chalange the staff member about this rate "discrepancy" when it was verbally mentioned during pickup. Technically rude lady is correct, I can only blame myself, but I don't think I was treated fairly and no doubt such behaviour is unethical. My guard was down because I considered hertz a reputable company. Nowadays it feels like you almost need a solicitor every time you deal with car rental companies. If you had similar "adventure" at hertz/firefly Leeds Bradford airport branch please contact me so you can piggy back my complaint to trading standards.

Just hired another car from Hertz and received the same super friendly and helpful service from the staff on the desk as always. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Always fantastic and I'd just like to say Thank on here as I often have to drop the car off early and don't get chance in person. Thank you 😊

Having just received a parking fine from a very heartless company known as UKPC While using a HERTZ rental car HERTZ think its fine to charge a whopping £42 pound admin fee on top of the fine if that's not a scam I don't know what is ,so obviously we will never use HERTZ again and tell friends, family about our experience needless to say the bad review seen by many be aware people

Avoid, lied about insurance charges and charged us twice, the lady was deliberately misleading!
