Decent products and pricing, but issues to what others have experienced regarding delivery and customer service. I have ordered 3 times from Sink Kee, each time between £50 and £120 worth of food. Every time there was something missing, and we had to request a refund. The first two times this was done without too much (though some) hassle, but the most recent occasion is what has made me decide to never use Sing Kee again. This order was about £30 short, and one of the packets of ramen was open in the box. It appears the all the stuff in the boxes has just been thrown in, with no concern for packaging, causing a packet to burst. We requested a refund. The response was that we had to take a photos of everything that arrived! This is ridiculous, since I could say 'the boxes arrive but they were empty - here's a photo of an empty box' - taking a photo of what has arrived proves nothing about what has not arrived. This is aside from the fact that they want me to send photos of nearly 70 packets! The person responding to my emails refused to negotiate, and then, out of the blue, gave me a deadline in just two or three days time. I have been very busy, and I am unable to achieve this. This is not a reasonable way to operate.

I've visited many times in the past but not for some time, I had a window of opportunity today and a need to stock up on a few things so paid a visit. The first thing I noted was that the already small and restricted car park was even worse than usual. A large number of contractor vans blocking certain parts and pallets and boxes of stock out in the car park meant the already limited spaces simply didn't exist. Parking nearby is difficult due to double yellow lines, other restrictions and the area being somewhat "worrying" in places when it comes to leaving a vehicle unattended. Despite this I parked some distance away and walked, noting 100s of used gas cartridges littering the area. Lovely. The "In" door is blocked off meaning you enter via the exit, this is also where the busy tills are and deliveries are moving in and out. Forget social distancing but masks are compulsory. Once in it's as I remembered, a bit of a maze, slightly disorganised and generally difficult to browse, this isn't a slick, modern supermarket by any means but that used to be part of the charm. As you investigate further you note it's also a bit run down these days with rusty fridges, dirty floors and a general feel of it being in need of some investment. Prices are fairly keen and stock clean and well presented though, it's mainly the cleanliness and age of fixtures and fittings at fault. My biggest gripe though was being totally ignored at the checkout while customers that, didn't necessarily share the same ethnic background as me were clearly prioritised and allowed to jump the queue. I certainly didn't feel as welcome in there as I remembered from my many previous visits. I'll try elsewhere in future which is a shame, the location of Sing Kee was convenient.

The products available Sing Kee are good. However, we have not had good experience with their delivery and customer service. We have ordered 3 times, and had problems with the delivery every time. On 2 of these occasions some of the frozen food arrived defrosted. On the 1st occasion they refunded 50% of the items that arrived defrosted after some chasing. On the 2nd occasion they did not answer 3 emails for more than a month and then say it is my responsibility to liaise with the delivery service - although I have tried this and rightly they tell me Sing Kee is their customer not me and thus this is for Sing Kee to chase. After clarifying this, they have stopped replying to my emails, which have all been polite. They clearly need to improve their contract with their delivery services. I will no longer buy from them.
