An absolutely huge structure that dwarfs the surrounding houses. It's worth seeing close-up, but you can't get onto the site and neither is it a museum. It's been there since 1857 but is no longer required. It was sold in Feb 2019 for £70,000 to an unknown buyer.

Though the prawn toast was a little bit too tart, the mere fact that the waiters are all dressed as gladiators (from the TV series) more than made up for this. I was served by Shadow. Avoid the cheese and bourbon sauce though.
