Fort perch rock isn't open which is a shame, but does look like it need renovating. Beach is beautiful, sand is lovely....but I was blessed with sunny weather. Usual local seaside amenities, though public toilets are quite inadequate, these being a couple of hundred meters away...and the sea is too far away...lol...only kidding!

Never actually visited Fort Perch Rock as it's now closed. It's looking rather down at heel and some of the iron work is rusting away. I was actually photographing Perch Rock lighthouse as it was an extremely low tide and you could photograph from the seaward side and include Liverpool's skyline.
